PARCKDESIGN is an event that examines the role of public spaces and green spaces in the Brussels-Capital Region. The 2012 edition opens abandoned sites to the public, and offers artistic and landscaping initiatives there revealing new forms for public spaces in the heart of the neighbourhoods of the canal zone.

PARCKDESIGN 2012 will take place from June to September, and will offer a perspective on the way in which green spaces and public spaces contribute to the construction of a Sustainable City, more in touch with its residents and its users.

On the ten selected sites, and all along the route connecting them, Parckdesign 2012 will offer highly varied initiatives, in terms of form as well as scale and longevity: garden, landscaping, architectural or furnishings projects, small or large, short-lived or long-term, etc.

Located at the geographical centre of the Parckdesign 2012 territory (Brussels-City, Molenbeek, Anderlecht), the Curo-Hall will be a special place: a public information centre, but also a meeting place for project designers, neighbourhood residents, visitors, experts, commissioners and the contracting authority, throughout PARCKDESIGN 2012.
